Welcome
This website is owned and operated by the Upstate Carolina Amateur Radio Society in Seneca, South Carolina. Please enjoy your stay, and if you have any comments or questions please contact us. Keep in mind that we do not own or operate any repeaters, and are guests on the repeaters that we use. So please when checking in to our nets to use the highest protocol, and good amateur practice when checking in.

We are a group of amateurs who share the same interests, and enjoy operating and the commaraderie of amateur radio. We seek individuals who share the same. We also wish to invite any and all new and old hams alike who wish to join us for the fun that is amateur radio.
Mini Field Day 2012
UCARS had it's mini field day on April 14th, and we had a really fun day, and a great time was had. Good food, good friends, and ham radio is a great way to spend a day. Here are a few photos to look at. Click the thumbnails and see the larger photo. The last photo is the antenna (not the one we used actually, but one like it) that we were all so enthusiastic about.
